Several blog posts back, I wrote about wanting to get a bender doll called Yoga Jane.

Joni, a friend of my balikbayan friend Nookie, who just happened to be a very active yogini in the Los Angeles area, and who was introduced to me by Nookie via her blog, wrote to me saying she had bought me the Yoga Jane doll and was sending it through Nookie.

At our lunch reunion yesterday, Nookie gave me THE doll. I love my Yoga Jane! I think she will inspire me to continue working on my more difficult poses (asanas) and be a constant reminder of the benefits I have been reaping from my yoga practice.
