Wellness was hardly a focus of brands and blogs 10 years ago. It was difficult to find anything organic in malls and restaurants. Today, restaurants offering healthier options, vegetarian menus, halal dishes, and organically-sourced raw ingredients abound. In malls, many brick-and-mortar, as well as standalone, outlets now feature personal care and home products that are organic and natural.
In celebration of its 25th year as a lifestyle destination in the metro, Shangri-la Plaza showcases the best of its beauty and wellness brands in the mall at the East Atrium with “A Heart for Health Beauty and Wellness Fair”, from Aug. 18-21, 2016.
I am familiar with several of the brands and shops featured in the fair, like Healthy Options, Certified Calm, and Scents and Sensibilities. I love their products! But I was also delighted to see some brands I had not come across yet because it was also a chance for me to see what new wellness outlets were available aside from those I already knew.
During the fair, mall guests can check out the products, try some of them, and get great promotional items such as discount vouchers.
Here are the participating brands and shops (alphabetical order): Beauty Bar, Belo Medical Center, The Body Shop, Botanifique, Bowmanbear Barber Shop, Certified Calm, Crabtree & Evelyn, Detoxify Bar, Headzone, Healthy Options, JNA Dance & Fitness Center, Nail Spa, Rustan’s Department Store, and Scents & Sensibilities. Also featured are soon-to-open stores Ride Revolution and Skin 101.
Check out more photos to get an idea of the great finds at each of these stores.
