Uplift.tv – short films that invite us to return to our truest nature and be a representation of our true self

Some things look like accidents but are they really? So many events in life seem deliberately placed in my way that I now believe nothing is an accident. Everything has a reason and purpose. Now here’s one more.

Just a few hours ago, a strange email landed in my inbox telling me I was subscribed to this site – Uplift.tv. I don’t remember subscribing but sometimes this happens when I register for a free wellness ebook or an online wellness summit and I am automatically added to their mailing list. Curious, I followed the link and was pleasantly surprised that Uplift.tv was a channel for short, short films – as short as 30 seconds to under 5 minutes. They are bite-sized videos that deliver compact messages that feed our soul.

Some of the videos featured people I was already familiar with – Dr. Bruce Lipton (a resource speaker in many online summits on wellness and Seane Corn (a renowned yoga teacher). The homepage looked very much like something out of Netflix, except that this site featured categories such as music, consciousness, inspiration, yoga, and wellness.

The UPLIFT website shows that the name is actually an acronym – short for Unity, Peace and Love in the Field of Transcendence.

Uplift.tv is part of a global movement that hopes to bring together people from all walks of life. On the movement’s main website – uplift.global, their vision is spelled out:

Amidst the many changes and challenges facing our planet at this time, there is a new shared vision which calls upon each of us to bring forth our unique gifts and contributions to the whole.

Imagine a place where poets and artists meet with scientists and ecologists, where indigenous elders gather with visionary youth. Where conscious evolutionaries meet with doctors, farmers, and teachers and each one comes to the circle to learn, share and discover what limitless possibilities emerge when we unify our gifts and passions for the greater good of all. Where our greatest challenges are recognized as our greatest gift – the opportunity to come together and create a world we love.

Combining the gift of intimate live events with the power of the internet to reach the world, UPLIFT is a bridge of love and consciousness into real world action, guided by a fundamental vision of Sarvodaya – Sanskrit meaning: “Upliftment for all”.

I’m grateful for whatever were the circumstances that got me registered to uplift.tv. Check it out if you are looking for videos that are good for the spirit. They have a blog site too – uplift.connect.
