The Yogini from Manila

The day I met Ty Bollinger of The Truth About Cancer

It isn’t every day that I get to meet in person a global personality who I have followed in various online summits on wellness. This special opportunity came when Ty Bollinger, the mover behind The Truth About Cancer, visited Manila.

Ty is husband to Charlene, a father, a CPA, health freedom advocate, health researcher, former competitive bodybuilder, talk radio host, documentary film producer, best-selling author, and a Christian. His journey towards his present mission started when he began losing several family members to cancer, including his mother and father. Ty refused to accept the notion that chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery were the most effective treatments for cancer patients. He and Charlene also found  individuals who were getting better while undergoing non-conventional treatments for cancer. He and Charlene wanted to know the truth.

They interviewed cutting-edge scientists, leading alternative medicine doctors, and groundbreaking researchers to learn about alternative cancer treatments. They also interviewed people who had survived their cancer diagnosis after following a holistic regimen. What they uncovered helped to create what is now their website, The Truth About Cancer, and three documentary series: ”The Quest for the Cures”, “The Quest for the Cures Continues”, and “The Truth About Cancer: A Global Quest.

In late 2018, Ty Bollinger and his crew, including one of the doctors featured in his documentary series, Dr. Antonio Jimenez, traveled to seven countries in Asia in preparation for a new documentary series to be released this April 2019.

On this trip, they were able to interview cancer survivors and holistic doctors in the region.

Ty wanted to speak with our family to learn more about our own journey. A family member was diagnosed with cancer some years back. Our journey started out with conventional cancer treatment but it did not work out. We moved to an alternative, holistic regimen and that was how our family member got better.

Meeting Ty Bollinger was a surreal moment. After all, I had been following Ty through his books and online documentary series for a few years already. I even brought his first book to our meet-up for him to sign.

The new documentary series, titled “Eastern Medicine: Journey Through Asia”, will launch on April 3, 2019. Watch for it!

Here’s a preview of the Eastern Medicine documentary series.

Thanks for reading! I'd love to know what you think.
